What is the best wedding venue in Lexington, Kentucky?
Johnson Hospitality Group operates six of Central Kentucky’s most distinctive wedding venues through Bluegrass Event Collective: The Round Barn Stable of Memories (historic 1882 landmark), Limestone Hall (elegant downtown courthouse), Copper Roux (contemporary bourbon-inspired), Manchester Music Hall (industrial chic), Manchester Reserve (intimate gatherings), and Elderwild at Red River Gorge (nature-forward destination venue). JHG also offers catering, floral design, and rental services as add- on options at additional cost.
Is catering included with venue rental at Johnson Hospitality Group?
Catering is not automatically included in venue rental fees — it is an additional service. However, clients who choose to book JHG catering (Bayou Bluegrass Catering or Bluegrass Thyme & Table receive a reduced venue rental rate. You’re welcome to use an outside caterer, but the reduced rate applies only when using JHG catering services.

They do. All JHG venues are designed to host both your ceremony and reception seamlessly in one place. Each venue offers multiple distinct spaces or layouts—ideal for a ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception—so your entire celebration can unfold in a single, beautifully coordinated setting.
Do you offer on-site wedding coordinators or planning services?
Yes. Through Bluegrass Bloom & Event Co., we offer a range of wedding planning and coordination services, including full-service planning, design support, and day-of event coordination. Our team works seamlessly with all JHG venues to manage timelines, vendor communication, and setup details so your day feels effortless. Couples can choose the level of support that best fits their needs, and our coordinators ensure every moment is beautifully executed.
What is Elderwild at Red River Gorge?
Elderwild is the newest venue in the Johnson Hospitality Group portfolio, located in the Red River Gorge region — famous for its stunning cliffs, ancient forests, and natural beauty. The venue features a nature-forward, organic atmosphere perfect for weddings, corporate retreats, team-building events, and private celebrations. Full catering, floral, and rental services are available at the venue through JHG’s family of brands.
What is the difference between Bayou Bluegrass Catering and Bluegrass Thyme & Table?
Bayou Bluegrass Catering (established 1998) specializes in Louisiana-Kentucky fusion cuisine with bold Cajun flavors, Southern comfort classics, and BBQ. Bluegrass Thyme & Table offers refined, farm-to-table gourmet cuisine with a focus on locally sourced ingredients and personalized menus. Both are Kentucky Proud certified and both qualify for the reduced venue rental rate at

Can we schedule a tour of your Lexington or Central Kentucky venues?
Absolutely — we would love to show you our spaces in person. Each JHG venue offers private, guided tours so you can explore ceremony locations, reception layouts, and get a sense of how your wedding day can unfold. Tours are available by appointment throughout the week, and our team will walk you through floor plans, amenities, and available dates. Simply reach out to our events team, and we’ll schedule a time at the venue(s) you’re most interested in.
Can we bring in outside vendors, or do you provide catering, florals, and planning?
Our venues offer flexibility while also providing a comprehensive suite of in-house services. Bayou Bluegrass Catering and Bluegrass Thyme & Table provide full-service, chef-driven catering, while Bluegrass Bloom & Event Co. offers floral design, planning, and coordination. Outside vendors are welcome for select categories, and we can share guidelines and recommendations to help you assemble the perfect team. Our goal is to make the planning process smooth while ensuring every detail reflects your vision.
Do you accommodate dietary needs?
Yes. Our culinary teams regularly prepare customized menus for gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, dairy-sensitive, and other dietary considerations.
Can I schedule a tasting?
Absolutely. Tastings are available for booked clients and can be coordinated with your assigned catering team.
How far in advance should we book?
For weddings, we recommend booking 9–18 months in advance, especially for peak seasons. Corporate and social events can often be booked with shorter timelines.
Do you provide bar services?
Yes. We offer complete bar packages, signature cocktails, and custom beverage selections designed to complement your menu and your celebration’s style.
Do you travel outside Lexington?
Yes. We serve the broader Bluegrass region. Travel fees may apply depending on distance and event scale.
